You will start your adventure by watching a coffee roasting demonstration by the Amazing Tino. Each person will be able to take a turn to roast the coffee. You will learn about different types of beans, the regions they come from, several ways to roast coffee in your very own home and some tips to make the perfect cup of Joe. We will have a coffee tasting and each person will go home with a 1/2 pound bag of freshly roasted coffee.

Next you will venture into the pottery studio, learn how pottery is made and hand-build your very own custom mug. You will be guided through each step to successfully make a mug from a slab of clay (not on the wheel, that’s another class), decorate it and personalize it. All the tools and supplies will be provided.

After your mug is made it will need to dry for 7-10 days, then bisque fired, after that it will be glazed for you (in the color of your choice) and fired again. The mug will be available for pick up in about 2 weeks or it can be shipped anywhere in the world for a small fee.

• Light snacks, coffee, tea, and water will be provided.

• No experience required.

• Please wear clothes and shoes that you can get a little dirty. We provide aprons, however you're still likely to get clay on your clothes, and shoes. But it'll be well worth it!

• We will be taking pictures of the class to post online. The photos will be mostly of hands and the projects but a few with faces. You will be sent a waiver to sign for permission to use the photos online.

Cancelation Policy: For a full refund, cancel at least 7 days before the experience is scheduled to start or within 24 hours of purchase. This is a one time only price. If you need to reschedule you will need to pay the price of the class you are rescheduling to.
