These house numbers are handmade with durable stoneware clay & glazed in the color of your choice. The beautiful texture shows through the glaze to reveal the design. Each number has 2 holes so you can easily attach them to your house with nails or screws. Get some letters & spell your name.
As with all my handmade pottery...every piece has its own unique handmade character and may have slightly different sizes, shapes and color variations. I never use molds and make each, one at a time. I always use lead free glaze & high fire in my kiln. Each piece is signed Back Bay Pottery and my initials.

WHAT ARE THE SIZES?
Approximate Measurements:
Choose between 4", 5", 6", 7" or 8" high
WIDTHS for the 5" numbers are approximately 4" wide for numbers 0 & 4; 3 1/2" wide for number 2 & 8; 3" wide for numbers 3, 5, 6,7 & 9; and 1 1/2" wide for number 1.
WHAT SIZE DO I GET?
The 5" size is my most popular size. First measure the space you want to put your numbers. Keep in mind that you want to be able to see the house numbers from the street so you may need larger numbers depending on how far away the street is.
CAN I ATTACH THEM TO A MAILBOX POST?
Yes the 4" size house numbers are perfect for a 4" x 4" standard mailbox post. The widest number in the 4" size is about 3" wide. See photo above.
DO YOU MAKE LETTERS OR SYMBOLS?
Yes! They are the same price as the numbers. Just order the quantity you need and let me know what you want in the box that will pop up as you add the items to your cart.
ARE THESE DURABLE? CAN THEY WITHSTAND THE WEATHER?
Yes! The numbers are made with durable stoneware clay and high fired. They are made to be outside in the elements and can withstand freezing cold or scorching hot temperatures. The color will not fade and they will last many lifetimes (as long as they are not dropped).
HOW DO I INSTALL?
RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION:
They can be installed directly on a stucco, siding, brick or concrete surface.
The easiest way is to trace the numbers on paper first, making sure to mark the holes and that they are centered properly. Next, place the traced paper on surface where you are going to mount the numbers and mark the holes using a nail, using a level will help you keep the numbers straight. Pre drill the holes then hand screw the numbers into place. If you screw the numbers into place with a power drill to fast the numbers can crack.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET THESE?
These are made to order and usually take between 3-4 weeks to make. However I do have some 5" numbers in stock so feel free to message me ahead of time to see if I have them ready to ship.
