Approximate Measurements:
Outside - 6" long, 5" wide & 4" tall (including handle)
Inside - 4.5" long, 3.25" wide, 2" tall
As you can see from the photo this size fits the Kerrygold butter perfectly.
This is made to fit a Kerrygold European 8 oz. butter stick which measures 3.5” long, 2.5” wide x 1.5” tall. It will also fit a Western US style butter stick (3.5" x 1.5").
It will NOT FIT the Eastern US style butter stick (4.75" x 1.25")
This beautiful dish is hand formed from stoneware clay & glazed in my lovely Aqua Mist. It is hand designed in my dot design with a special slip trailing technique. The texture beautifully breaks through the glaze to reveal the design.
As with all handmade pottery...every piece has its own unique handmade character and may have slightly different sizes, shapes and color variations. I never use molds and make each, one at a time. I always use lead free glaze & high fire in my kiln. All my dishes are food, dishwasher and microwave safe but hand washing is always recommended. Each piece is signed Back Bay Pottery and my initials.
