These unique kitchen utensil crocks are completely handmade. Each one is thrown on the potters wheel from a smooth stoneware clay. The dot design is made, one dot at a time, with a special slip trailing technique and glazed in the color of your choice. The texture beautifully breaks through the glaze to reveal the design. 

As with all handmade pottery...every piece has its own unique handmade character and may have slightly different sizes, shapes and color variations. We never use molds and make each, one at a time. We always use lead free glaze & high fire in the kiln. All our dishes are food, dishwasher and microwave safe but hand washing is always recommended. Each piece is signed Back Bay Pottery and initials. 

PACKAGING - Each item is carefully packaged in bubble wrap and heavy duty boxes to insure a safe delivery. Gift wrapping available upon request.
